The simple fact is that the black population in America consists of less than 12% of the population yet in American prisons the population is over 50%. Also black Americans contribute to more than 55% of all welfare distributed in this country. I guess this is my fault to.

10:43. Yeah, blacks are over represented in prisons. It's not because they are committing more crimes, it is because they get arrested more often and prosecuted more often...because of racism, discrimination, and racial profiling. Not only in the criminal justice system, but also in the legal system as well.

Barry says the police decided to "forego the troublesome judicial process." Barry's comment is a public indictment, an assumption of guilt that loses credibility when you read the story.
Maybe the cops had in mind to kill this guy when they started looking for him -- but maybe they didn't. Maybe they were professionals trying to do an incredibly difficult job.
According to the story, the man refused to show both hands when instructed to. He was suspected of already having killed a deputy, so they knew he was armed. What were they supposed to do? Wait for him to kill someone else?
I'm not saying the cops didn't have murder in mind when they started looking for this guy. If someone killed a friend of mine, I'd certainly be looking for payback. But maybe we should leave room for a little doubt.
