I suspect that many big rig drivers are true professionals. But when companies are so pressed to find drivers, some belligerent cowboys get jobs, too. Those guys are truly dangerous. How are you to know what type of driver is bearing down on you?
Its no wonder that businesses love Wise County. We take it up the ass sans lube from the quarries, trucking companies, oil and gas companies, and followed up on this train with the waste dumping. And yet we stand mute and take it. We're largely at fault because we demanded low prices for everything, and with everything comes a price.
That picture makes me giggle. Yes, that is a typical day on 114. And no doubt, the traffic is probably moving at a high rate of 20 miles an hour due to the stupid rock trucks trying to make it up the hill. Hell, they can't make it over a speed bump any faster either. STUPID IDIOTS MOVE OVER!
Yes, I dispise trucks in my way of traveling. It makes me sick to see them. They are nothing but a menace. I am one of those very agressive drivers and do not tolerate slow moving, window breaking, tire slinging, idiots on the road.
I happen to be one of the truck drivers in Wise County and in our defense....... 1. Don't pull out in front of us and the drive under the speed limit and expect us to stop as if we were in a car, can't happen. 2. Don't pass us just to turn left and cause us to almost rear end you..again "we can not stop as quickly as you. 3. Be patient, when we take off our vehicle is much heavier than yours, it takes us a bit longer to build up to the speed limit but we will, we are only doing our job just as you are trying to get to yours. 4. We are all family men and women just trying to provide a good living for our families just as you are, no, we are not all educated such as maybe you are your husband who's income provides your lifestyle but we are doing the best we can do and the last thing we would ever want is to harm or kill someone. It is harder on the driver of the truck that hit the family member than on anyone. PS.... I have a four year degree and clawed my way up the ladder of corporate America and choose to enter this profession. Not to harm you, your loved ones or to piss you off, but because I wanted a change.

That was a very horrible day for myself. In my opinion the WCSO desperately needs more traffic units to work this stretch of hwy.

What person that has driven that stretch of 114 has not either seen a wreck or witnessed a near wreck....and I would bet 95% involved trucks
