The WCM reports that the Wise County Regional Hospital claims a $300 million annual economic impact on Wise County. Are they crazy? Based on a population of about 50,000 people, that's $6,000 better off every man, woman, child, illegal, and inmate should be each year. Or about $20,000 to $25,000 for every single family, based on average family size. In other words, the hospital is claiming it accounts for more than half of all income in the county. That's strange, thought hospitals were things that local people paid into, and not things that cut checks for $20,000 each year to every family in the county. Economic impact studies are notorious for overmultiplying, overestimating, and counting every dollar even if the dollars come from the local area.
Too cute...wish my grandbaby was going to be here before Christmas...I'd be getting one, or trying to get one...something tells me it will be a nightmare trying to find one...Cabbage Patch Kids all over again!

"I just got my son a 4 wheeler and I need a helmet for him. He flipped his 4 wheeler on top of himself on Memorial Day weekend, and I have told him he can’t ride it until he gets a helmet……seven stitches is enough. Anyways, I have him an adult helmet, but it slips down on his head, and I wanted to get him one that fits. If anyone has a youth helmet that fits, let me know. Thanks, Tammy "
I think we should keep this "Elmo" blog open forever for all us weirdos to post things that just don't match the topics Barry chooses to post.
I think B should also open up a "bitching/cussing/accusing/slandering blog topic that never ends so we can always rip each other up, and criticize MzChief for all her bolding, italicizing, capitalizing and hot linking. Until MzChief tells us how to hot link, you will have to cut and paste the above link. Oh yeah, let's not forget RR either.....it (RR) should have it's own Liberally Lean blog for all of us to bash it (RR) on.
