Don't get me wrong, this guy is a freak and should be in alot of trouble for this. He deserved what he got (if the story is true).
But, by law those individuals who attacked him should have been arested too. Holding an individual until the police arrive is one thing. Hitting him in the face over and over is another. Those attackers had better hope this creep doesn't get a good lawyer.
The people who chased and beat him did not have all the details until afterward. The saw a chance to beat on someone so they did. It was gang mentality. They had no evidence, no cause other than someone else's protestations. Sure, it's a neighborhood and they believed what the lady was saying. But that doesn't cut it. The attackers will be arrested.

I'd take my chances if it was my child he was showing his pornographic material to...but your point is well made.

He is lucky to be alive. And I do not consider the others as attackers but more like real parents who know how to handle a creep.
