I'm sorry, did they win a championship? Or are all you little Mavericks just happy that you made it this far??
Well, in a way they did, they won the Western Conference Championship and now will attempt to be NBA champions by beating Shaq and the Heat.
We don't think of basketball this way usually, but the Mavs in the NBA Finals is equivalent to the Rangers making the World Series or the Cowboys making the Super Bowl or Decatur winning a playoff game in Shertza.
