Al Gore was on The Tonight Show last more promoting his new movie about global warming.
On his new found "hollywood" status, Jay Leno asked him what it was like.
Gore: "Well, you know, it's kinda tough. I'm in this big feud with Lindsay Lohan right now."
Leno: "Really. What's it about?"
Gore: "Well . . . she knows what she did."

Al Gore was wonderful on Jay Leno last night. It is a crying shame that his great personality and sense of humor didn't come through in the political sector. He is 1000 times the man, husband, father, politician, humanitarian, and leader than Bush could ever be.
I look forward to seeing this movie. At the Caan festival, it received standing O after standing O. You could tell Jay was genuinely impressed with what he saw.
was that his attempt at being funny? I don't get it. I mean, I get it but come on.
GGM
What a loser! Thank God he did not win the election. We would all be riding camels to work and our money would say "In Gihad We Trust"
Gore was so wooden in appearance back in 2000 that caused a close election (remember he won the popular vote only to have the courts hand the election to Bush). Gore has so much more substance than Bush. The rest of the country (and the world) is waking up to Gore's basic intelligence and foresight. It will take Wise Co. somewhat longer.
Come on, what planet are y'all from? I get chills just thinking "what if" this man was our president. He has lost his freaking mind...
What a hypocrite!! Doesn't he know that the earth goes through cycles of warming and cooling? I thought back in the early 70's the liberal sissies were telling us we were having global cooling and the oceans would be dead in ten years. HELLO, we couldn't stop cooling or warming if we had too. This guy just found his meal ticket and riding it for all it's worth. Why doesn't he cash in all his Oxy Petroleum stock( which was given to him by his daddy, who was on the board of Oxy, who voted against civil rights for blacks when he was a senator) and quit riding around in private jets and SUV's to promote his BS movie and SHUT THE HELL UP!!! You think this idiot is FUNNY? Wooden Indians make me laugh more than this moron.....
Lindsay probably fell asleep during the PowerPoint presentation....only after attending the film due to hearing it was about something "hot" on earth.
Snoozle, all the way around...
He didn't get the majority of votes in his home state, where he is known the best. Not a bad guy, though.
And by the way, didn't he fail his Bible course in college? I guess daddy couldn't afford someone to take little Al's final exams for him like Teddy Toadhead Kennedy did at Harvard when he was kicked out for having someone take his spanish exams for him.
reagan rip - you gross me out! I mean - you REALLY gross me out!!! I just threw up in my mouth a little bit reading your crap.
What's the matter? The truth makes you gag? Did you swallow it or spit it out?
Thank God fools like anonymous 8:20 are in the minority. Your opinion is skewed with poor information that you not doub got from Gore's world wide web. Al is a legend in his own mind....and yours.
Very funny, Global Warming- ha ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahah, Al Gore-ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha
George Bush is an International Terrorist!!!
Anon 6:27,All you are doing is exposing how shallow you liberals are. Shout out what you here on left wing hate blogs and put forth no facts. That was a very powerful statement that is sure to change no one's mind about the seriousness of the real terrorists that want to kill you. Lets all join hands and chant and then they will love us and not want to force us into their way of peaceful religion(blowing themselves up along with innocent women and children, beheading innocent women and children, living like poor dirt farmers in the 13th century, riding camels). Yea, that's the kind of life I want for all of us too. Whenever you start putting forth facts and intelligent opinion, then people will maybe listen to what you say. Until then, my give a crap about your bumpersticker mentality is broken. God bless our troops for giving their lives and time away from family to protect your right to stay stuck on stupid.........
~~Chill Reagan ~~ chill...
reagan, it appears it is you who have few facts and spout canned right-wing garbage. (BTW - you've spelled hear "here" in more than one post).
That band of terrorists we're fighting do not care if you accept their religion - they primarily want you out of what they consider "their" part of the world. Now I don't agree with them or their methods, but don't assume all Moslems hate you and want to convert you. It just ain't so. Iraq now has a self-grown civil war and our troops are caught in the middle of it. While our military is designed to defend this country and its allies, it's not designed to be a police force or "peace-keepers." (Do you do realize that this Iraq war has taken as long as our involvement in WWII?) The Iraq part of our response to 9/11 was ill-conceived and poorly executed. And Bush and his gang are mostly responsible.
I know none of the facts bother you - just as you are unable to understand the current human impact on the global climate. But other scientists and thinking people do and hopefully can make the difference that might save the world so you can continue to live your misguided life.
Anon 7:37, If you would have said that the first time, instead of shouting out the bumpersticker, two people that disagree can have a reasonable debate with out the sniping. I just have one question for you though. Where can I get me some of those rose colored glasses? Let's do some fact checking. How soon you forget 9/11. I don't think we were in "their" part of their world that day. Those good ol boys that flew them there airplanes into our buildings and fields were just on a joy ride I guess. So I guess if "I" would just leave or better yet, not have even gone in there to clean up that cesspool,"I" would be still living in a 9/11 world. Are you not including yourself as an American when you blame all the worlds problems on GW? Gee, if we can just hold out for Hillary for President and Slick Willie for President of the UN were home free!! I seem to remember reading somewhere that even we had a civil war one time and for the most part things worked out alright.
I think we were and still are in parts of the world because of WWII and spend Trillions of dollars to reconstruct after that little skirmish to get that good ol boy Hitler that wasn't bothering anyone. The terrorists need to be stopped wherever they are. Canada thought they would be safe from those good ol boys if they stayed out of Irag and guess what? They only wanted to blow up some stuff and behead the prime minister. No big deal. Send in the ACLU to defend them boys, quick? Just a few facts for ya........
And you don't want to get me started on us evil humans changing the global climate. Next time your outside, look up and that real bright thing up there, it's called the sun and it too goes through cycles of heating and cooling. There must be a bunch of Republicans up there driving SUV's and flying private jets affecting it's climate too. Please don't tell me they have a GW also. Just heard a tropical depression is forming. Wow, is he ever good at affecting the weather! Do you agree with the UT professor that believes that if we would just eliminate 90% of the world's population that our problems would be over? I guess those 90%'s problems would be over. Just the facts, Jack.
reagan, your blather continues to demonstrate your complete lack of awareness of current events and recent and ancient history. I know nothing you see on this blog will either educate you or even promote independent thinking. Fortunately others are waking up to some of the facts to which you seem to remain oblivious.
I would like to have you dispute what I say but I guess facts get in your way
reagan, apparently we are the only ones still interested in this dialog but here's someth things for you to consider:
Fact 1: We have had troops stationed in Saudi Arabia for over 15 years. We’ve been in Turkey for decades. The extremists like Bin Laden resent this intensely. We also support Israel and that seems impossible for these extremists to tolerate. This led to their attacks on the USS Cole and then the 9/11 attacks. So you see, we have “been in their territory” for some time. Again I don’t agree with their methods or beliefs but I do attempt to understand their reasoning.
Fact 2: I was only saying our military involvement in WWII took about as long as this current effort in Iraq that appears to no where near an end. We have already spent more in Iraq than in all of our reconstruction efforts in Germany and Japan combined. And have very little to show for it. For example, the Iraqis have less electricity and less clean water available now than before the war and they have to wait hours for some gasoline while sitting on a giant pool of petroleum. The difference between the two wars is that our government prepared for, executed, and paid for WWII. The extent of Iraq mess may take decades to fully comprehend.
Fact 3: Global warming is a fact. Yes, the planet has been thru climate cycles in the past – thru 4 billion years of evolution. However, we have not had to deal with the impact of human activity except for the past 2 million years and actually only for the past 150 years since the industrial revolution. This is but an “instant” in geologic time. In fact, the rapidly expanding human population (and their expanding herds of domestic animals) are having an exponential affect on the planet. It is happening now at an increasing rate. While all reasonable scientists recognize the problem, the solutions are harder to find and/or implement. The planet will likely still be habitable during your lifetime. Your grandchildren and theirs will find a very different place unless we face the challenges and do something about them.
Very good spin. Wrong again, but very good. You win the argument. So I will go to Walmart and get some rose colored glass and a "Run Hillary, Run" bumper sticker and put it on my car. Except I will put it on the front bumper. I guess you do agree with the UT professor that says our problems will be over if we would eliminate 90% of the world's population. Your in charge of deciding who to eliminate. Your thinking reiterates why conservatism is gaining ground and liberalism is a lost cause.
Good stuff, regan rip, I like what you say, and if you spell here hear, I guess their not smart enough to figure out which one is which, and who cares anyway-oops I guess THE SPELL CHECKER DOES, did I spell that right? 4:18 is Al Bores brother. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
