Oh, When We Were At Peace And Gas Was $1.50 a Gallon

Yup, too bad back then in the days of peace and $1.50 gasoline that we weren't identifying the plot to blow up the world trade center, or making sure that we were investing in refineries to ensure adequate gasoline supplies in the future.

Yea! We were spending all our time worrying about who was having sex where, and how we could ebarrass, harass, indict and convict the foremost leader of the freeworld while bringing to a complete standstill the operations of the foremost government in the free world able to identify the plot to blow up the world trade center, or making sure that we were investing in refineries to ensure adequate gasoline supplies in the future.

Actually the World Trade Center was bombed - the people were identified, captured, convicted, and are in prison. A concept the current administration has not grasped.

And during the transition the Clinton people told Sec Rice the biggest problem was Al Quada and she confidently told them they were wrong - the biggest concern was China.

He makes me sick!

He's why where in the trouble we are in. He was having sex with someone's little girl while the world was plotting to blow us up

I believe it was "Bushie" who was handed a report about a month before 9/11 that stated that bin laden was planning an attack....and he ignored it.

Shut your pie-holes and VOTE. You think we have problems now, if BUSH goes into IRAN, we are REALLY going to have issues!

I voted....therefore I can complain.

The problem is not OIL! Let me say it one more time the problem is not oil! The problem is that all the middle east countries have the oil and they Hate the Jews! (Israel) Iran wants Israel blown off the map!We support Israel and that's why they hate us. Its only going to get worse in the middle east trust me.There will not be peace untill Jesus returns.

A more scary prospect, Hillary in the Oval office with nukes in Iran. If she is elected we need to begin the evacuation of Israel the day after the election.

And ...talking heads if you honestly believe that Clinton was the "foremost leader of the freeworld" or that he could prevented the 9/11 attacks (he didn't seem to prevent the 1993 WTC attack)or that he would have done anything to increase gasoline supplies, you should run for president of Fantasy Island. The Starr investigation did nothing to stiffle any activity that Clinton was invoved in official or sexual.

Don't worry about Israel! It can and will defend itself! nothing will happen to them.

Always a lag effect in the policies of administrations. Takes time for actions or inactions to be realized. In other words, when a new president takes office and begins putting things into the headwaters, so to speak, don't go to the mouth of the river and give the new president credit or blame for anything downstream..at least not until there has been time for his policies to work into the economy and the political system.

9/11 proves your theory 12:58

Yea 12:58; your theory is called passing the buck.

"I did not have sex with that woman." Anyone remember that line...that lie? Fine, let's say sex in the Oval isn't an issue. He still LIED. Can you Clinton supporters not just agree that he lied and move on?

Now that you are ready to bash me with Bush, please don't be under the impression I think he's anything special. Personally, I think if you are still a supporter of Clinton you are misguided and if you are a supporter of Bush, you are misguided. Neither has given us much but plenty to be sad about.

To all you 32%-er sheeple - I really miss Clinton, honest.....he was/still is a much smarter, better educated, compassionate man that Bush will ever be....can you say "Rhodes Scholar"? And to Anon 12:58, the dirty water that will come roaring down the river that the next president/presidents will have to deal with will be much more damaging than anything "bad" Clinton ever did during his term. He had to deal with Reagan's and Bush I's dirty water, and there was plenty of that......I can't wait 'til it's 2008 - I just hope the whole world can survive until then.

Clinton is smiling because the artist left his fly unzipped.

Anonymous said...

Anon 12:58 - can you tell me how well Bush's policies are working into the economy and the political system........I'm just not seeing it.

Anonymous said...

Likely most Republicans don't see it either 3:09. It's called denial.

12:50 - idiot
2:33 - Yes, you are correct sir.
2:51 - So, everyone who supports ANYONE is misguided???
You people!!! Ugh!!!

Lets see 211,000 new jobs, one million new jobs in the last six months, unemployment drops to 4.7%

the stock market hitting new highs!

There are more 1st time home owners in over 20 years.

Don't forget Bush cut taxes to put more money in your pocket.

My tax return was nice!

Lets see what kind of spin you liberals can put on this.

Liberalism's is a disease

What has Bush done that is so great? He lied to the American people just like Clinton. Our deficit is at an all time high once again, breaking records year after year. The price of oil is double what it was when Clinton was in office. Not to mention the fact we are still paying people assistance from the aftermath of Katrina. All at the expense of not only us as tax payers, but our children. Clinton may have been a liar, cheater, whatever-but at least he cared more about domestic policy and kept our economy on a positive track.

Feeling that there will be Retirement if my Company (American Airlines)does not screw its Employees out of it like the other Large Companies are doing in America now ....

I miss also my Personal Freedoms now that the Goverment wants to Listen to my Calls ... Know what books I read ...Watch what Web sites I visit ...

Most of All I miss Bill Clinton :)

Collectionsite - I hope you can live off your retirement from AA - I take care of my Mom, who retired from there after 30 years of service......She gets $612.66 a month from them, and she was in middle management. She retired in the late 80's so factor in some inflation, hopefully. Add another $275.00 from some Met Life crap she got from there as well, and add in the $457.00 from Social Security. I would not trust them with my money at all......their insurance for elders sucked, and I am glad my dad has gov't retirement - otherwise, they might be eating dog food, with all their health problems. And supposedly AA is doing better for their retirees than some airlines, but that could change in a heartbeat. Good luck, and good investing!

.....and all we were thinking and talking about was oral sex. Boy those were the days!

4:02 - I miss Clinton too and would vote for him if he ran again.

But Hillary for President?

Not sure.

We are reaping what Clinton did in office Duh!

Gas is as high as it is now because it was held artificially low for most of the 90's.

You know, I never understood why everybody gave a $%#^ if he was beddin' Monica or not?! He was a pretty decent President.
AS long as a person is doing there JOB, let them have their private life!!

anon 6:13 If you think he did a good job you are an idiot

6:27,
Besided boning a fat chick. What did he do that was so bad? Stop hating him just because he was a democrat and you don't like liberal policy. Compare what he did in 8 years, to Georgie boys. HUGE difference.

Anonymous said...

All you clinton lambs...

If you think the Bushies are the misguided ones, think about this:

1. Clinton had to pass himself off as a conservative just to get elected. He branded himself as a new democrat; then immediately after he got elected he drove to the far left - with Hillary at the wheel and pulling the string. The second time the Repubs ran, who was it, Bob Dole? A good man, but no face for television at all. He just seemed too old. Like pickjing the weakest out of the Republican litter.
2. Admit it or not, about 95 percent of the large media conglomerations are mega liberals and would do anything they could to bash anything republican and praise anything democrat. FOX is about the only ones who lean to the right, and thank goodness for them!
3. It's funny even when so-called experts start quoting figures about inflation, unemployment, etc. Numbers can be spun anyway the spinner wants them to be heard. Ever heard the phrase "Lies, damned lies and statistics?" Even more, it's laughable when John Q Citizen starts blogging about statistics, because it's obvious they came from television or some other media outlet who "SPINS" them the way they want. Talk about sheep! lol

Check the transcripts, Clinton does not have more education that President Bush. Also, if someone does not have the intestinal fortitude to go into Iran there will be issues. Do you think they will disappear?

Anonymous said...

Is that the room where he lied on television about "not having sex with that woman?"

Read your Bible.
