From another Blog:
Fort Worth native and Burleson High grad Kelly Clarkson turns 24 today. Clarkson not only pocketed $1 million and a recording contract for her American Idol victory over four years ago, she set a standard that no other Idol contestant has come close to matching. Clarkson's two albums have sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and produced five Top 10 singles in the U.S.

That no American Idol has come close to matching...yet. Carrie Underwood is well on her way. And those two have been the most deserving so far (in my opinion, of course).
I love Kelly Clarkson and she has remained true to herself. What a wonderful talent!!!
True to herself? Nope. Totally changed. Ruined, actually. Not the same person. Who could be?
Oh yeah, Carrie Underwood, faux country singer in the mold of Shania and Faith. Miranda Lambert got screwed at the CMA Awards in losing to Carrie. She actually is a country singer and writes her own songs. There, I feel better already.
Shania, what a phony. Once, she was remarking in an interview about her Native American heritage, and how proud she is of that...came to find out that her Native American "heritage" comes from her stepfather....no blood. Fraud.
