Be it resolved that any person that commits the offense of murder shall be executed due to the death penalty.
Let's see a show of hands.
Ok, who wants to inject the lethal fluid on this one.

I don't think there are many people who want the death penalty for all criminals. Compare this case with one where a criminal bursts into someone's house or business and kills someone. See any difference?
Guy will not be found guilty of murder, therefore will not be given the death penalty. If you can chop off your children's arms or drown them all in a bathtub without being a murderer in Texas....
Hey 2:27, mute is acceptable. It not only means a person without the capacity to speak but also an argument that need not be verbalized. Mute has other related meanings, too. Going forward, I'll try to keep things simpler so that I don't confuse those with a thinner dictionary.
So we have situational laws? Just because it is a sad situation doesn't mean he has they right to murder someone.
How is that different from "my kids are hungry so I think I will rob that grocery store." That guy might be just as desperate.
You guys are right though, he will get a lawyer who will get a dozen delays and he will never even be convicted.
By the nice baiting Barry, my prediction is 25 comments on this one. Isn't it about time for a gay tolerence post or is it a Bridgeport Decatur feud next? Then, old church vs new church.
As Barry knows full well, the post is irrevelant because this will not be and is not a death penalty case. Read the LAW. Not capital murder. So get over it Barry, once again your personal agenda comes to a head like a recurring pimple. Consider it popped.
How is premeditated murder not a capital crime? Was the man of sound mind? Did he know right from wrong? If so, it seems to me he'd be eligible for execution. If this was the woman's neighbor, or Dr. Kevorkian would they be eligible for execution after conviction? This man might get married again and his new wife might get sick. Might he do this again?
I'm opposed to the death penalty in all cases. Life in prison is punishment enough - when indicated. In this case, he deserves a medal for compassion.

The point is what? This man will NOT be found guilty of murder, therefore the issue of who gives him a lethal injection is mute.

I am guessing he would rather be with her.
