I've never been a fan of Johnny Cash, but after seeing the movie, I have a new found respect for him and mostly June Carter Cash.
I thought it was funny that his first wife in the movie is now Margene on HBO's Big Love - Big Love's about poligamy - I cried when I watched "Walk The Line" - I really liked the movie. And, I really like Big Love - it's the only serial I watch, except for checking in on American Idol. I usually just watch the Internet, and check in on this website to see what all the Bush lovers are getting their panties in a wad about on any particular day - this site is better than a soap opera!
I thought it was a very moving story and I too was SHOCKED to learn about Elvis (God Rest The Kings Sole) & Jerry Lee Lewis ???
Loved it! Watched it a second and third time....still love it.
Next time someone sees Elvis at the mall be sure to ask him if he really did get Johnny hooked on speed.
Aren't you glad folks won’t be making unsubstantiated allegations and unsavoury innuendos about you after you're dead and gone?
It was a great movie. I could watch it over and over again.
