Isn't Boxing Barbaric When You Really Think About It?

Some boxer named Leavander Johnson underwent brain surgery last night after collapsing after his boxing match with Jesus Chavez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He is in critical condition today.

Here's what I don't understand, we the people elect commissioners to represent us, and to act in our best intrest. Yet the commissioners that we are currently stuck with are among the approx. 2% of wise county citizens that wish to privatize EMS. We the people are forced to sit back and watch a group of people decide what quality of health care we are able to recieve.

What's wrong with this picture? Am I the only one that has a proplem with this? What ever happend to letting the citizens vote on an issue? What are the commissioners limmitations? If they can take away our health care without us(the citizens getting a say so)then what else can they do?

Looks like a parody of the EMS system in Wise Co. after the commisioners court gets through with it or the nation after the Republicans get through with it.

Anon #3 I think we get the idea. Maybe you should try responding with something that is relevant to the topic.

It's bad enough for a man, but when a woman does it - that's unbelievable! (you know, men may not be as smart as women). Which leads me to wonder how or why "Million Dollar Baby" had such critical acclaim. The acting was really good, but the story??? Come on, give me a break! Depressing and stupid. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that after a few blows, you gonna die! She needed "boxing" to feel she had a place in this world - to feel she was good at something. To me, people who get into boxing have real power/control issues.
