Why would school teachers (trained in safety precautions) not where seatbelts or permit their children not to where them. Tragically sad, but come on.

Agree with 334...and, why is a 16 y/o driving?

That is, why is a 16 y/o permitted by the adults to be the driver of 8 people in an SUV at midnight?

Yes I did. Pissed me off after I saw what I did with no ability to edit. I may be a bigger grammar Nazi than you.

I know I'm late to the party for getting this posted but have to vent a little. This is a terrible tragedy leaving a family destroyed and only comments are about the mistakes made. Really a is your life so perfect or pathetic that you have to jump on dead people in a horrible situation? Does it make you feel superior, justify you worthless thoughts or make up for your failings? Not very nice people to say the least.

11:19pm, it is a horrible tragedy but these are people our/the county residents tax dollars are paying to educate our/their children, and they promote not wearing seat belts? In sad reality, their actions may be the greatest lesson to their remaining students that they taught - WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS!! And the poor 16yo who was wearing lives and has to live with this mess of his parents not wearing seatbelts and permitting their kids to not wear them and live with his siblings deaths and parents. Most likely due to a stupid decision on his parents part. Yes, sad, yes a tragedy. But probably could have been prevented.
