May not catch a lot of attention, but word came down this morning that former long term
Dallas Morning News sports columnist Frank Luksa has died. With the print industry spiraling out of control and sports becoming more and more corporate, that is the passing of a man from an era which I miss.

They'd be raising a few PBR cans in his honor over at Joe Miller's (if Joe Miller's still existed).
"...so bad it wouldn't even flush."
Good stuff.
Rage
It's an Era when we were all young and vibrant with the rest of our lives so far ahead of us and no thoughts of getting old but alas now the tree is starting to bend, the leaves starting to fall and all our tomorrows are now our discarded foolishly spent yesterdays tossed aside like used personal hygene products.
12;42 Wellbutrin...take it!!!
in that shot of Jimmie:
can he do that on his own, or did he need some pharmaceutical assistance to eXtenZe his arms up in that manner?
Did somebody 'shop his noggin into that pic? Unnatural-looking...
"I honestly didn't think I would outlive him. I am still alive, right? Somebody take my pulse...and these empties!"
Triple Fake Randy "Grandpa Urine" Galloway
He lived and wrote about our good times back then, 16 years after last Cowboy Championship...never be the same.
I subscribed to the DMN for years back in the 80's and early 90's. Frank was the best print sports guy going, bar none. To his legacy he preceded talk radio and that overexposure. RIP.
