5:34, after several years of poor playing and behavior on the field from the Decatur players, why wouldn't one blame the coach? The head coach is hired to do a job and when that job isn't being done year in and year out then that coach deserves the blame for a poorly run program. Looks like people in Decatur are finally having enough.
seriously BG..take a look at that storm, it's a monster and growing, it may go down as the worst storm in history, that's big..it looks like texas in the spring X 10 or worse. it will be O's Katrina.
Decatur is just more of Wise County...the people in every town here are all the same. The silly back and forth that goes on in this county from town to town is just sad.
It is a parents responsibility to teach discipline, and only a coach or teachers job to demand it for the short time of day they have with your child. If my child is flipping fans the bird at a game, or continually getting personal fouls, I can guarantee I will have the final say on his/her extracurricular activities.
I seriously doubt that the problems with discipline on the Decatur team began with the coaching staff. My guess is that the Decatur coach knows if you crack down on a kid with the wrong last name, your job security is much more fragile than it would be with a few losing seasons.
I haven't been to an eagle game in five years, they were bad sports and the coach never done a thing about their actions.. Sounds like Story should go, Story's son is a senior and some other District will think they are getting something and hire him. Good By!

Those Eagle just don't have it! I was sad to see these Seniors lose to Bridgeport for the first time ever!
At least we got to leave Bridgeport after the game last night. LOL

When a school gets beat by a weaker, smaller, less talented school the first thing parents do is blame a coach.
And why not blame the coach?
It's better than saying "its my son that sucks. It's my genes the horrible coach is not teaching".
Nevermind your son is not physical. Nevermind your son can run his mouth but not back it up. Nevermind the offspring has YOU for an example.
When your son tests positive and loses his cdl, will you blame the trucking company?

I blame the Eagles loss on lack of turf, no parking on the square, and Rhome not having a paid fire staff to respond when someone has a heart attack.
