Libraries are immensely valuable. Soylent Green proved that. And don't tell me the intertubes are a replacement. One strategic EMP and all that electronic info is toast.

the reference to Soylent Green is relevant. There was a scene in the movie where Edward G. Robinson's character went to a library, and it was very hush-hush. Books were in short supply due to the scarcity of trees and reading was restricted.
