I believe the Rangers have a deal in place for that particular piece of advertising with a Japanese media outlet. I assumed it would only be in rotation on days when Darvish was pitching, but maybe there will be enough new followers to justify it. Not unusual to see this sort of thing with West Coast teams and others with prominent Oriental player(s)
