What if the train is going 70 mph? How much time do you have to react at a blind curve when your traveling at the posted rate of speed in a loaded bobtail pup committed to going forward? I've traveled that road in a loaded truck and the trains have increased the speeds for that area. The railroad needs to install lights. I'm sure he heard and saw after it was too late. The train traveling at such a high speed for that intersection is not safe. Both ways at the intersection is a blind corner. Maybe 1:19 & 3:14 would like to test the intersection in a loaded truck with what they suggested. May you rest in peace Jim.

One should look at a RR crossing.
I've driven a truck out of that crusher several times and you have to pull onto the tracks to be able to see a train coming at all
