Lightening strike at the West Virginia / Marshall football game (no one was hurt despite an initial ESPN report that they later pulled):
Near Bastrop today (per Facebook)? If real then "wow".
Edit: Video. At the 1:30 mark you can see how high the flames are.

The photo from Bastrop is real...and it is bad - very, very bad. Fires all over the Austin area all day.
News said they were just letting them burn.
Tea Party wants to fight those fires with tax cuts....
Wish people would keep their mouth shut when they are filming such a good utube video!
Obama wants to throw your kids in it.
Why are there people in our state that sounds like that?
What idiots. "We gotta go see the fire because we are just that relevant to the situation"...and "let's go down there and get in the way of firefighters" becomes...fittingly...."WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE, IT'S A FIRE!!!!"
The weenies want to fight those fires with mandates, regulations, and tax increases.
Wow I actually saw a Police truck. And Tom Bishop said a truck was unsafe. Apparently the agency there didn't think so. Bad fire.
Gov. Rick tried praying to end the drought. Suppose he'll now have more prayer sessions to end the fires? Naw - he'll start applying to the hated federal government to pay for the drought and fire damages.
Michele Bachmann says the east coast earthquake and hurricane were God's attempt to get congress' attention. Guess the message hasn't gotten thru yet so He's throwing lightning and sparks around, too. Wonder what He'll do to liberal blogs?!?
Man, those pines would go up like crazy if it really gets into the forest. They better save the park, at the very least.
Rage
On December 21 2012 we will all have something in common with Bastrop.
@8:50, good call. Jaw jacking screws up a lot of what could be great video. Let the Nat SOT carry the video but don't confuse Nat SOT with Nat X.
