I'm not sure what was going on this weekend with crazy tricked up uniforms (Oklahoma State and Georgia come to mind), but Maryland on ESPN tonight has gone over the top. What the heck is that? What is up with the half and half helmet? It's like Mad Max or something.
For once, I'll give huge credit to Texas and other schools which refuse to tamper with the traditional look.

The end zone is painted the same way. Looks like some rogue English battle flag.
I don't care if that's the state flag of Maryland on the players' helmets and shoulders, those unis aren't just awful. They're God awful. Somebody from Under Armour needs to be in the dock at The Hague for crimes against humanity tomorrow.
Kinda makes me wonder if drugs and alcohol were involved in the selection of these uniforms.

It is made up of the colors and designs of the State Flag of Maryland. Does not stop it from looking mentally challenged.
