Want To Cry Again?

A plane crash in Russia this week killed a former Dallas Stars hockey player whom I had never heard of.  Someone else who never heard of him was a taxi/limo/van driver in Dallas who was sent on a routine call to take someone to the airport on the same day.

Her first hand account is here. Wow. I mean, wow.

Edit: The author deleted it after receiving some criticism, but the Google cashed version of it is here.

Now THAT'S a difficult day to get through, and I'm just talking about the driver! Pretty sad AND thought provoking.

Karlis Skrastins - was sort of the "iron man" defensemen. Played a bunch of games without missing a start. Nice guy. RIP.

Damn Barrister, MAN UP! Enough of these Lifetime Network stories. Lets get back to the crude stuff.

How dare that shameless taxi driver exploit the family of the deceased for their own 15 minutes of fame.

Don't listen to the above bloggers.
I love the Lifetime theme. We have to many haters on here ranting about things they can do nothing about.

Would you all say the same if he had been a relative of the President Obama’s??

Just curious.

1:16 - are you serious? You think that story was an attempt at 15 minutes of fame?
I have no idea who wrote that story. However, her perspective was touching. I hugged my granddaughter after reading the story.

1:16 here. Yes, I'm very serious. Must have been right and not the only one for the author to delete it.
