Over Dramatic Photo Of The Day

Really? That's a bad text, but really? (Story)

And note that the text was sent to the mother. The near-death-grief-stricken girl learned of it how?

Of course they had to make the stupid drama queen look like a victim. Otherwise they would have to face the fact that she's a stupid drama queen.

Waaaiiittt a minute...you mean if I teach in a union state I can "accidentally" text the actual TRUTH about a kid to the parents and not get fired!?! Genius!

This man does not need to teach! That is the problem with our schools, they don't think they can terminate anybody! When are we as taxpayers going to take our schools back! Hats off to the new Middle school principal in Bridgeport, he is finally getting that place back on track. Now will someone please look into our High School. Big problems in so many areas! JMO but it is shared by many parents!

No. The bms principal has no control over state controlled things.

And listen parents, if you think the band teachers texts were bad, teachers make fun of your little darlings everyday.
Have you ever heard "the Apple doesn't fall..."?
Odds are the drama queens dad is made fun of in the same way by his boss.

My advice to the parents are to fix the problems with your child instead of making excuses that the mean ol band teacher doesn't like my child.

oh, BG, wait til your wife gets a text like that about one of your new stepdaughters and watch the "wheels off" as you like to say. Get ready to rumble.

Where, oh where, could this girl have gotten her tendency to be a drama queen?

4:08 pm Yep you should hear how they talk about the kids in the teacher breakroom to each other. Just substitute sometime and see for yourself.
I remember a time when if you got in trouble at school then you were in trouble at home. My parents NEVER questioned the school's actions. I had to shape up and learn how to get along.

The teacher was 100% wrong in sending the text no matter who it was intended for. That said - the teacher didn't cause the little bitch drama queen pain, the mom did by sharing it with said little bitch drama queen.

My ultimate fantasy...to go one day without having to censor myself during the school day. I'd have my administrators and parents' heads spinning. Oh, it's so fun to think about what I really like to tell some parents about their spoiled brat kids and administrators of their new business model educational whim. Ugh!

7:29, you are clueless. Teachers don't have TIME to sit around and talk about kids in the teacher lounge. Between all of the meetings, new program implementation (every freaking year), documenting how many times we wipe your kid's ass, covering ours, and occasionally sneaking a lesson in there, we don't understand what the word "lounge" means anymore. Teacher Lounge...Ha! What an obsolete concept.

Maybe Ann Curry will do the story tomorrow on the Today show...

and we can get a Over concern face talking about the over dramatic face...

Really doesn't sound like the teacher did anything wrong except send the text to the wrong Melissa.

No one likes anyone saying anything negative about their kid even if it is the truth.

According to the comments, the parents then FORWARDED the text to a bunch of band parents, presumably to show what a bad teacher this man was. So...was their first concern the humiliation of their daughter? Apparently not, because it all really went south when it got passed around to all the other band kids.

You should read the text I sent about the spoiled little brat and her enabling DQ parents.

Your teacher texted me said you should have used -overly- instead of -over-.

His thoughts at the moment of this picture....

"You think you've got drama... you should try to live with these two."

Something about the look on that man's face just makes me wanna bitch-slap him

Notice the "buy this photo" option under the photo. Am I the only one that thinks that's weird?

Just the picture of those three queens wore me smooth- didn't need to read associated article.

@2:53
Reread the story. The parts about the UNION CONTRACT. So far, we don't have teacher unions in Texas. And teachers sometimes are fired for similar behavior, sometimes not, but at least we have the option to do so.
I don't understand why good workers/employees want and vote for such clauses in their contracts. The only ones that are protected by those rules are the lousy employees. Bad PR, worsens working conditions, etc., for all, most especially the good guys.

Dad couldve taken care of band teacher out behind the band hall, texas-style, with a few well aimed kicks or a punch to the mouth, what ever, and it's over. the teacher would neer do it again.

I was more concerned with the tag line next to the picture that said case of dengue fever reported in vegas..that is more news worthy.

If you looked at that pic independent of the story you'd know, simply KNOW there must have been multiple murders, rapes and robberies involved in the life stories of those long faces. We don't have any problems in this country.
