He is a Rhome Firefighter and a good guy.

He was the Rhome Assistant Fire Chief. Before you cast judgment, think about what would he really do with that kind of drug. Its not something you can take to get high. It is used to put animals down. Maybe, just maybe he kept them at his house to help any animal in Wise county area that might be seriously hurt and needed to be put down. We don't have the luxury of animal control that actually has a quick enough response around here to do this. Most animals that get hurt have to be shot due to no being able to get a vet out of his bed at night. So think about what he actually had and use your mind for just a minute to process what exactly what he had in his possession that he was charged with. I will be willing to bet this gets thrown out of the court and charges released.

6:59 must be a comedian!

maybe thats how the rhome fire dept is buying all those new trucks. their are getting financing from the grapevine animal shelter. just a thought.

Things were much safer when K2 was legal.

There are 4 cats and a hamster missing near the Fire Hall.

Ketamine is the most common animal "tranquilizer". Ketamine is refined amphetamine. It is a very strong halucinogen and is heavily abused.

Noted the stroy doesn't say that is what he had, but it is a reasonable suspicion. I hope for his benefit he had a reason, and didn't risk everything for a high.

I think everyone should get a grip and clean up your own back yards before judging others besides unless your a friend of his you don't know what your talking about! Dont you people have anything better to do? Fact he was asst cheif but has not been full active for a while now due to his illness fact he resigned fact the fire dept or the men and women who are there day in day out to help y'all should not be put down or bashed because of your stupidity!!!

Why do people insist on bashing a person and their reputation when clearly they know nothing about whats going on? This man is one of the most honest, caring and decent men I have ever met. The man wouldn't use those drugs for any other purpose that the one intended for them. It's ridiculous to even think any of the things people are accusing him of are true! It's really easy to sit there and say all those things about him, but not even have the courage to put your name on your comments! Could it be because you know in your heart you are wrong and you don't want the rest of the world to see it??? I have no doubt that he will be cleared of all these things and all of you loud mouth know-it-all's should remember not to throw stones when you are living in glass houses! It will come back to you!
BTW, have you ever heard of "Karma"? just saying........

Anonymous said...

He may have used them in an acceptable manner to you...but the fact that he stole them from Grapevine pretty much says it all for me.

spivey_k said...

He didn't steal them...Grapevine knew they were signed out to him while he was still working before he got too sick to work.just never got a chance to get them back to the job...this is what I mean about judging someone without all the facts! don't you think if he had stolen them for an illegal purpose that after that length of time, they would not still be in his possession???? Think about it...why would he still have them???

Anonymous said...

If he was too sick to return the drugs, he could have flushed it down the toilet. Just because he was ill, it does not excuse his poor judgement. Why did he need that stuff at his house? He was just asking from trouble by taking it. As a controlled substance, it is suppose to remain there at the animal shelter in a locked location. What if a toddler had gotten ahold of that stuff????

spivey_k said...

3:11 you would have to know the man to understand why he didn't just flush the stuff. you'd also have to know what his job entailed as to why he had it in the first place. I didn't say he was too sick to return it...his failing health over the last several months has put so much stress on him that its understandable as to why that it just got forgotten. there is just so much that the public doesn't know about the situation...it will all be cleared up eventually. until it is people would do well to leave the man alone as he is in pretty bad health already.
You asked "What if a toddler had gotten ahold of that stuff????"...first there are no toddlers around him, but you should ask yourself "what if a toddler got into a bottle of Tylenol in your home. Should you be put on trial because you had it in your house?" One is just as deadly to a small child as the other is.

spivey..your asertion of the timing is absolutely incorrect, as is your asertion that they weren't stolen. Never-the-less, think what you want, the truth will soon be known.

He should have got the anti fire department city council stoned.

Anonymous said...

There will be a Halloween fundraiser coming up. Everyone should go and support the Fire dept. Make a separate donation to help with his legal fees. Dont trust anyone outside the FD that is city connected.

Drugs in Rhome? Surely you jest!

spivey_k said...

7:02...You are absolutely right the truth will soon be known! What makes you so sure I'm wrong?? Do you know him? Do you have all the PROVEN facts of this? You couldn't possibly have proof as NOTHING has been proven. What happen to "innocent until proven guilty"? Has our justice system just shut down?? I thought "Lunch Mobs" were a thing of the past...guess not, huh??

Anonymous said...

The "Lunch Mobs" run the numbers, and prostitution at Tater Junction.

Anonymous said...

I wonder if he was the one who brought all of fire equipment that was taken from Grapevine Fire? Rhome is full of crooks and robbers. The department needs to be flushed now.

spivey_k said...

yeah, yeah so my spell check wasn't on...even a total idiot would have known what I meant. Most of you think all this is just a big joke, but your wrong. None of this is a laughing matter!

Anonymous said...

He's a crook, just like Rhome's Chief of Police...That's okay, the City Council don't care...
