Here in Omaha where they know a thing or two about snow..they ploy the stuff to the center of the road..then they scoop it up and load it into dump trucks and put it in the Missouri River where it melts...that is so it doesn't pile up all winter and flood the place in the spring.
Nice to see 300 South State so clean, must have been done for the Main Street office personnel to promote another event tomorrow. I would do Charlie Brown snowboarding, because skateboards are not that good at the $750,000 Harmon Park right now. Oops,forgot the vandals made it $810,000 park.
Does anyone EVER stop to think of WHAT has to be done with the snow that was removed from YOUR streets & YOUR trees to prevent power line breakage? Rather than criticize parents like myself that work for TXDOT or the city work crews that have to leave their families. It doesn't matter if its night time, CHRISTMAS or any other time & risk our own safety getting to work then working in the elements so that the community can travel down the road....ONLY TO RECEIVE NOTHING BUT CONSTANT CRITISM.....
If you have ever worked for any city or state government you would not think the check received is all that great....all I am saying is not to be so ungreatful. Did your parents ever teach you the golden rule or does everyone owe you something?

We're sending loads of snow to those poor folks in Vancouver who don't have enough for their little winter games
