I cannot tell you the number of emails and texts I got about this.
I've got no pictures. Turn on the TV as of 4:00 p.m. Channel 11 appears to have the best coverage because they were "lucky" enough to have Sportscaster Steve Dennis out there with the camera crew.
Edit: Channel 8 has video of of the bubble collapsing. Pretty amazing.
Edit: I love Fox 4 but they keep speculating that the facility went down because of "rain buildup." No way. (They also have a video of the bubble collapsing but I'll give the nod to Channel 8 for the best footage for now.)
Edit: Amazingly, KDAF Channel 33 had the best video footage. Channel 5 showed it at 10:00 p.m. More amazing is that no one was killed.
Edit: Should have titled this "When The Walls . . . Come Tumbling Down"

Cowboys Practice Facility Collapses With Players Inside

Waa...waa...waa...poor Dallas Cowgirls
Yeah, It's been continuous coverage on Channel 11 of the event - and interrupting my viewing of the golf tournament. OK - the building fell down, a few people were injured, and all players accounted for. So there you go - in 20 seconds you get the picture. Now get back to golf! Sum this thing up in the evening news when something might actually be known.
Until I saw the video, I thought it was just a big balloon. The steel girders on the ground are huge. Not a real fan of the Cowboys , but (unlike 4:27) not a fan of injuries.
Really scary, but to most Americans this is MUCH bigger than Piggy flu.
Thank God, BG is on this subject for a while.
Now we get several of his viewpoints in a row on this one.
More hits!
Channel 8 video is by far the best.. And this is why Bridgeport wants to pass a bond to build one of these??? Another poor decision.
ABC did have the best video... one player barely missed getting nailed by the roof while jumping through a hole in the side of the building
Foolish to be in it with a severe storm approaching in plain sight.
Bridgeport needs an indoor facility about like I need a hole in the head.. .... come on guys...football is an OUTDOOR SPORT... give me a break and I love B'port...grew up here and went to school here but the indoor practice field is a joke... it is a WANT not a NEED...get a life...
VOTE NO!!!!!
just a sign of things to come for the dallas cowgirls
notice that the WFAA reporter refers to Jerry Jones as "Coach Jerry Jones" on the video
Henson needs to worry more about getting Green back than an indoor facilty.......plus Greens step mom is hot
Indoor practice facilities are great, and not at all dangerous. People are supposed to have sense enough not to be in them during a violent storm, and the one that came through Irving today gave plenty of notice it was coming, both visually and by booming its advance with thunder. How many times do the weather people say "take cover in a sturdy shelter"?
You self righteous bastards need to stop and think about the hatred you display! My son is one of the assistant coaches that just happened to be hit by the falling roof. He was transported to the hospital and is now under a 72 hour watch to make sure he is okay. He is a wise county boy and it really sucks the vile that is spewed by your feeble unthinking minds. Perhaps someday people of your ilk will rule the world and God forbid there would be any compassion.
There are no assistant coaches on the cowboys staff that are from Wise county....you are an idiot
What the heck were they doing having practice with the deadly swine flu spreading rampantly around the country and killing every living being in it's path? What irresponsible coaches they must have.
I heard rumors it had nothing to do with wind etc. It was Philadelphia Eagle terrorists trying to sabotage the season from the get go.
I love you guys, all of you. Especially on Saturday night when you're drinking.
Well then 6:03 are you a lonely,
desperate person or just enjoy
mindless entertainment?
all i wanted was a friend
See,God doesn't even like the cowpuds..GO STEELERS!!!
I just wanted to see my favorite team practice.
Double Fake God
Wow. The Cowboys don't usually suffer a collapse until December.
