Maybe Monday Is Good TV Night

Gov. Perry is moderating a panel discussion tonight in Garland about Obama's first 100 days in office. Bud Kennedy sends along this pic "30 minutes before showtime" via his Twitter feed. "The event, expected to draw as many as 3,000 people, is one in a series of events Perry is using to reach out to the more conservative wing of the GOP on his path to a 2010 re-election bid expected to include a primary battle against U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison."

Looks like most of the conservative republicans came dressed as empty seats. Given that, I'll bet more than 3000 were there.

Does illustrating that Rick Perry is a dumb ass make you feel better about Obama being the President?

Those aren't empty seats. That's the silent majority!

I bet Obama could have filled those seats!

Shoulda had another teabagger party. Maybe the draw would have been bigger.

When Perry recites the pledge, does he hear the words, "one nation, under God, indivisible...? Do you suppose he understands the word "indivisible"? What a loser!

The event was a real downer, I heard that they ran out of chicken about 30 minutes before the event. I won't be back!

Perry is calling for federal help with the swine flu "epidemic."

What happened to Mr. "We don't need the US" Perry? One short week and he flip-flops!

hey Anon 8:14...

what's really funny about your post is that everytime people like you open their mouths, you make us conservatives look even better, because you prove our point: when you can't debate the facts and you know you're wrong, you resort to name-calling...the old Liberal attack...
funny, dude, funny...

love,
Gern

Goodbye and good riddance Rick Perry. Your time has come to an end.

My friend was waiting in a crowded Florida airport on April 15th when CNN News reported Gov. Rick Perry's announcement that Texas could secede from the United States.
Everyone laughed.

Maybe Comedy Central or SNL could carry Perry's event this time.
