An emailer says that the guy arrested in this story used to be the pastor at the First United Methodist Church in Boyd.
And didn't I make a random observation about Royse City in yesterday's Random Thoughts?

My "random" thought is that this pervert should be permanently removed from the United Methodist Church.
On a related issue, Senate Bill 1738 is up for a vote that will give law enforcement more tools to fight child pornography via the Internet. Cornyn and Hutchinson should be contacted immediately to vote for passage of this important bill.
Had a friend that had his kid "groped" in the bathroom in "Micky D's" right here in Decatur.I think it should be mandatory castration by fire ants for those disgusting purvs who prey on little children! To me this crime should be rated right up there with murder!
Catch them...KILL them end of story...No million dollar trial or Attorney needed! You get caught you are KILLED ! that should turn most away from that sort of behavior
Something is wrong with this. Steve was pastor at our church and there was NEVER a hint. Word through the Methodist family is that someone in their new congregation does not like his family or his newly adopted (black african baby) and wants them gone. A truly horrible time for a very loving family.
Who knows whether this guy is innocent or guilty, but the fact remains that perverts get into situations where they have access to children.
I don't care if he is a preacher or not. If he molested a child, get him in a courtroom and find out, or have a church trial. The Methodist Church has the right to do that also. I'm just not sure if this dispicable act falls into such a category. If not, it should.
First of all, the are no allegations of child molestation. Looking at child pornography does not necessarily mean that they will molest children. Second, the CHRISTIAN thing for all of you people to do is pray for Steve and his family and his church family. Child pornography addiction is an addiction just like anything else. He needs help and hopefully will find it. I know him and he is not a bad person.

3:48 - what?
Your second sentence makes no sense.
Then WHY look at such sick things?
Yeah, I'd pray for this man too, but until I found out the truth, he would be NO where near a child of mine.
