I enjoyed his interviews with various politicians on Meet The Press and he always was very pointed with his qustions to them, regardless of which party they were from. Good man in his private life too and he'll be missed.
It seems more likely he died from a REAL heart attack, not an apparent one.

Russert seemed like a person of depth - more than just superficial.
He will truly be missed. He had a way of looking into the camera that was honest and believable.

Hannity can be downright annoying sometimes spewing truth and facts about Obama ;etal,,who would assume command of our country...Folks had better start paying real careful attention to the truth, or we may be in for changes we're not prepared for.....Americans better wake up before it's too late..

Tim Russert was pretty much fair and balanced. In the Right-Wing World, anything really fair and balanced is "LIBERAL" media. To the Right-Wing Nut Division of the Republican Party Of Conservative Nutjob KoolAid Snorters (The Righters just don't drink the Kool-Aid, They tear open the top and "SNORT" straight from the pack. If it is not 90% slanted to the Right Wing NutJob toe the Line O thinking, It is Liberal. Russert was fair, but probably voted PUGGIE. Hewitt talked about plan A and B, what it looked like to me watching "Meet The Press" Russert was easy question for Puggo's, harder questions for Demo's.
Hannity is a more consistant truthteller than most pundants on any of the news..especially those sorry-assed bush haters on cnn,msnbc,nbc,abc,cbs,pbs..I could easily name these aholes but everyone already knows who these basTURDS are.

My husband is a physician and told me that he probably died from an embolism seeing as that he had just returned from Italy the night before. Traveling long distances in an airplane makes one prone to them if there's not alot of moving around. If there's an autopsy, it might show that.

I love it...most comment on how they "liked" old Tim, because he was an independent in the "liberal" media. Well, hate to pop your bubble but, as are most intelligent and reasonable media people, he had a history of working with the Democrat governor of NY, Cuomo, and the Democrat senator, Moynihan. He came from a Democrat background but still demonstrated independence when doing his job.

A pic of James Carville, Democratic strategist and his Republican strategist wife, Mary appeared in the ST today. They were shown crying during a taping of MEET THE PRESS in memory of Tim Russert.
Boy, bet the dinner conversation around the Carville house is interesting.
On December 21 2012 we'll all be in the headlines but there wont be anyone to read them.
