Stop. No, Yield. No, Stop.

As you begin your turn left towards the Sheriff's Office off of westbound 380.

(Thanks, David.)

Is Bill Nelson an Aggie? Just asking. Why is there a stop light at Tater Junction and 114 and a blinking light at 114 and 51. There is far less traffic at the Tater Junction intersection and then you have to follow rock trucks up the hill that won't pull over so you can pass where there used to be 2 lanes. I think this man is anti-Wise County.

What is up with all of those "One Way" signs... they are all over, and about half of them really make no sense.

The state is scrambling for lawyers to represent those LDS children, maybe Barry can get in on that.

To 11:14, Rekon that would be a good place for Barry to find his new X-wife #????.

OMG it's a State designed DEATH TRAP!

Typical TXDOT traffic engineering in Wise County. Honcho, that is "what is up". Enjoy the new demolition derby.

Doesn't Nelson live in Bridgeport? If so, SURELY he has seen that Grand Canyon pothole just as one turns onto 380 near the Greystone Inn. Hitting that could knock the front end out of anybody's car.

It is horrible.

Not on subject, but.....Runaway Bay speed trap cops are pathetic. If they can't get you for speeding, they pull something outta their ass. If they have someone stopped, you damn well bettr not pass them cause 9 outta 10 times, they will stop you and bust your ass for passing them too fast. Hell of it is, it is all subjective on their part. Fight the ticket? Yeah right. City cop ticket in front of city judge? GUILTY. Who's next, please?

Nelson lives in Bridgeport but goes to Decatur through Paradise. You don't expect him to drive through that Hwy 380 death trap do you?

I live between Bridgeport and Decatur off 380. Work in Decatur and have continued to drive to work that way but always drive home the back way on Preskitt Rd. during the construction. Drove to Bridgeport after work today to get my phone upgraded. Drove 55 miles per hour which we were told was the speed limit since there was still construction going on. The car behind me did the same. Every other car and truck passed us going at least 70 or more. I did not see one DPS or Sheriff's Deputy on 380.

I find that absolutely outragious. I drive on Hwy. 287 South for just a couple of miles to my job every morning and see plenty of DPS and Wise County Sheriff's Deputies.

Why are they avoiding 380. Where were they about 3 weeks ago when myself and everyone behind me coming westbound from Denton got absolutely pounded with rocks from a truck that must not have had the tailgate closed. We all pulled over to the shoulder and drove for the next two miles because there were rocks all over the westbound lane. Not sure what happened to all the people behind me. But my car is at James Wood with a cracked windshield, paint chips in the hood, front bumper and side mirrors, two broken lenses and a hole in the convertible top which has now got to be replaced - total $6,000 damage.

My insurance is paying for that. You and I pay for that in the end. I would have loved to make a u-turn and chased the truck down but that would have been way too dangerous. That could have ended up with a rock in my head.

I really do not want any stupid blog comments to my post. What I would appreciate is some advice on how to get the DPS and the Wise County's Sheriff's office more interested in monitoring speed limits and rock trucks that are absolutlely loosing their load on 380.
