Heck, Almost Made Me Cry

Stole this from BagOfNothing.com this morning. Go ahead, do yourself a Friday Morning Favor and watch it. The singing begins around 1:30. We all deserve a Stop Down Moment every now and then.

This kid has talent, but these shows, Am Idol included, glorify the "wisdom" of the 3 judges that are making their comments. So, when the judges make condescending, sarcastic, shallow and sometimes mean comments to the next person, the message is also equally clear: "That person is an idiot and had it coming." If you watch that kind of crap, you are wasting your time. Try reading a good book. But I forgot, most people under age 40 cannot read well enough to get through a good book.

9:39, I was having a nice positive moment after wathching that...thanks for bringing me down and putting a negative spin on things for me.

While EVERYONE that's on one of those shows absolutely knows that the judges may attack them (mostly for fan enjoyment b/c that's part of the show), it's altogether different when a person making a blog comment about how they don't like negative comments... MAKES NEGATIVE COMMENTS himself. We all appreciate your hipocracy.

After watching this and this, I'm thinking Britian's Got Talent is far better than Idol.

Christian Bale was eleventy billion times better in Empire Of The Sun. There's bound to be a youtube clip.

"Mesmerizing" is an accurate description.

"most people under 40 cannot read well enough to get through a good book"

Im 30 with a college degree (and yes, I hate to read and probably am not the best reader actually I know I am NOT the best reader)

But guess what...it was your generation that failed ME!! It was in your generations hands to teach me and lead me...so when you make comments like that the finger points back at YOU

Gotta love the younger generation. Who are they going to blame when the "ones that failed them" have passed on?

Have you heard Sarah Brightman and Paul Miles Kingston sing this? It is beautiful.
Google Pie jesu or go to youtube and watch it.
Paul reminds me of a young David Bowie.

This kid could sing with Sarah Brightman and who cares if he is gay when he grows up. That is between him and God. Not my buisness. He has a beautiful voice.
