Pinpoint Prediction

Anybody else think this is kind of silly? (That pic is, uh, "up to the minute" since I just pulled it off my television invention.)

Edit: The KXAS chopper-cam just did a live shot over Alvord facing west to show the incoming storm. It was quite the panoramic view.

Edit #2: And that first clump of storms didn't hit Decatur at all. Now that second batch, at 6:27, looks like it might - at least according to my computer models. I'll project a hit at 6:41:09.36 p.m.

Edit #3: At 8:18 p.m., I've determined that the local affiliates have lost their ever loving minds. If I hear "A tornado could develop right here" one more time, I'll, well, continue to watch. And I swear I saw David Finfrock look at the radar earlier and say, "This could actually be debris or trees in the air causing this on the radar."

Marble size hail covering my lawn and 3 inches thick on porch. Sounds like house ready to come apart. Probably 50+ mph winds. I'm in so. Parker co.

Well, I personally sat outside, on my beautimous bunkhouse porch, when the evil storm came over my slice of Gawd's Country, willing the storm to not hail on my veggie garden. Not that I'm God or anything, but, if, any of you Wise guys want to send me money, please PM me, and I will link you to my paypal account.

Last week when Wise county was in a Tornado warning, you were lucky to catch a weather report during commercial breaks. I sent in a complaint to the weather stations about how it was thought less of because it wasn't Dallas or Tarrant counties. The response was that there was no confirmed touch-downs so they covered what they saw as necessary. As if to prove my point, tonight.....Tornado warning in Parker county, no confirmed touch-downs, BUT it is moving right for Tarrant county so that is all that is on!! Maybe someday our spot-in-the-road county can get the same amount of attention.

We got a torrentional tornadic downpour of .4 inch in Runaway Bay. There is a chance our civilization will survive.

Me thinks it was a rehearsal of the Rapture tonite. With the weather idiots leading the way of those who stay.

They are so desperate and so competitive to be the first to show death, and lives being destroyed live on camera, in order that Jack In The Box will order more 30 second spots with them. But they are only that way because all of us sit on our goo pads and watch the box all evening. We are so pathetic.

All of my flowers, veggies are destroyed, pear and plum trees pretty well obliterated. Probably 1500 dollars damage to my Truck. Neighbors horse freaked and was in my yard during the worst of it, then he booked-he's still not back.
After he first came into my yard there was a sort of lull so I put on one of the kids bicycle helmet to try and catch him and put him up on my place. He looked calm and glad to see me until a stray hailstone hit my shoulder and caused me to scream like a little girl and make a run for the house. Then he reared up like he was applying for a stunt double position for Silver and took off running down my fenceline again. The spousal unit was devious enough to photograh the entire fiasco. Don't get anxous to see the results though-she wasn't smart enough to take the camera to work.

Whatever happened to the days when the scroll would come across the bottom of the screen telling people to take cover? Or put a radar image in the corner of the screen? Why must we pre-empt prime time tv for over an hour to look at some wall clouds and radar!!!!

I look forward to TV night on Thursday all week. Who got booted off Survivor? We'll never know I guess. If they can invent HD, why can't they have a picture in a picture to show what is going on with weather? The Stars won. I never watch hocky, but it was better than watching weather in DFW.

Deep Thought For The Day From The WC.
Maybe it would be better to begin to teach babies skills like barking and growling first because man, you can only go so far on baby cutes alone in this world!
