preamble to the constitution reads "promote the general welfare."
how insidious.
one percent for a phone bill doesn't mean a dang thing. i'd rather see a drop in the power bill anyway. we have the highest power bills of anywhere but connecticut and massachusetts. thank you deregulation.
With this savings and my tax incentive rebate, I will be able to buy a couple tanks of gas, that is, if the price will stabilize at 4 or 5 bucks a gallon.
Texas is the highest in the nation for paying the most for telecommunications service and being taxed at the highest rat as well. Does anybody want to thank Phil King?
1%?! why not be compatible with the nation and lower it by 12% at least.

Of course, the headline ought to go on and say--"and then again, it may not."
Dirty Ring??? Funny stuff. They may cut it 1%, but the tax they will charge for cutting it will more than compensate in the long run.
140 million dollar cut and I'm saved 2 dollars on the high months? There's a chupacabra in the woodpile summers.
