Random Thursday Morning Thoughts

- I can never remember what the "dew point" means.
- Crowley really got hit by the storms last night. I'm not sure where in Dallas County that city is located. [Edit: Let the dogpile begin.]
- And can any weather guy break into programming without going nuts over a "this could be a circular rotation!!!!"
- The Abercrombie & Fitch crowd love Obama.
- If you ever install the Stumble Upon toolbar, you'll waste time forever. And you'll love it. (Be sure to set it to your preferences/interests.)
- There's a rice shortage? Rice? A shortage of Crisco I could understand.
- When I wrote this about Pacman Jones over a year ago, I never dreamed he'd be a Dallas Cowboy. Which, as of this morning, he is.
- The sixth inning of the Rangers' game last night was not-a-good.
- Edit: Rant by a normally whip-my-arse-criminal-defense-lawyer that I kind of agree with.

Any time you lose a BASEBALL game by two TOUCHDOWNS it is time to draft "Pac-Man" and change Leagues.

First of all, I think one thing about the dew point, is, if the temperature drops to that point, you'll get dew forming on things. Now as to why the temperature "can't drop below that point", I don't know. And Crowley is in TARRANT county (south of Fort Worth).

Okay, I looked it up in Wikipedia, and IT says "Crowley is in Tarrant and Johnson counties, but only .01 square mile is in Johnson county". Now we have ALL learned something!! (This is 8:26 AM, and I stand corrected.)

She won't put up with any crap !

Doggoneit, somebody else took my pithy response! Oh well,I'll say it anyway,"I thought the masturbatory gesture would polish OFF the tarnish."
Wonder how many people besides myself in our country have had real faith and pride in our court system until a judge takes everthing they have on essentially a whim?
I don't know but if I'm ever in court again I will request to be chained to a table because I won't be responsible for my actions if it happens again.
I wish I was kidding.

Sounds like the Judge and Prosecutor were violating some ethics if they were doing as the article indicates, but that does not excuse the Defense lawyer's actions. Everyone is accountable for what they do. The judge is accountable if she violated her judicial canons and the prosecutor can be diciplined as well if he or she is interfering with the attorney/client relationship. The system needs to be respected by all who work within it, otherwise the system fails.

The picture of that nekked chick looks like it was taken on the square in Slidell.

It's beautiful this time of year.

It's amazing how many people have absolutely ZERO sense of humor. Amazing. And sad.

#998 of ways to to know you're being cheated on: Makes a point to tell you on entering the house after taking off early, "Went to lunch with some of the people from the office".Hmmm, she does this every day wonder why I need to know about today? The answer may lie in her Big Red scented breathe and Mexican food flavored NECK! Ponder that one.

Thanks for the linkage. I've added you to the blawgroll. And I'll be riffing on some of your material soon.
