In The Middle Of The Night . . .

. . . on Saturday, when I was either doing the Cabbage Patch at 8.0 in Fort Worth or fast asleep - I can't remember, this gal won her first Indy race in a country known for bombing the bejebus out of us in Hawaii. (Which I guess we owe them a bit of gratitude or we never would have had that movie starring Ben Affleck.)

Anyway, Danica Patrick drives me nuts. The woman has no personality. None. She could be a superstar by now even a sport that no one cares about, but most of the time during an interview I'm worried she might be flatlining.

But I got a chance to post this picture, so forget about all that.

Perfect example of "Kinda ok but, she does something cool for a living so she must be smokin hot"

She's the Anna Kournakova of auto racing. She's more famous for being hot than being good at her "sport." Not sure auto racing qualifies (NPI) as a sport, but you know what I mean.

Anna gets a pass, though cause she's Russian and much more exotic than granola Danica Patrick.

I might disagree with jarhead on this one. Danica is pretty competitive, and has been amongst the leaders in a large number of races. In fact, the last Indy 500 could have been won by any one of about four or five drivers (when to pit or not being the factor), and Danica was one of the possible winners! She IS hot, though!

I personally think she can't win for losing. She wants to be taken seriously as a driver, but then looks as good as she does, and thusly, if she doesn't win every race or becomes the Tiger Woods of her sport, she's the Anna Kournakova of her sport. Pretty impossible standards, wouldn't you think!

Gawd I wish I were her hands in that picture.

I was watching the race on ESPN classics for a little while but they never said it was live. I assumed it was from a couple of years ago so moved on. According to reports it was pretty good at the end.

Kind of mannish for my taste but, to each his own

If she wasn't a racecar driver no one would look twice at her.

Put a pic of Danica Mckellar up and you'll have me at "Hey Winnie" she's alot more interesting anyway.

Not sure if this racing term still applies, but she seems a bit flat.

I think I'd rather go at it with another dude than a chick that looks so mannish.
