I don't see anything wrong with the ad. It wasn't talking about "THEM". You don't see all us white folk bitchin everytime someone of another race says something stupid with the word white in it. They need to get over it and go back to wetbackland if they can't. I'm with 10:55. I'm damn tired of them!
Please. There's no way that's not racist. They might've gotten away with their lame little joke if they'd phrased it a tiny bit more carefully (e.g. "Tired of a wet back?") -- still lame, racist and stupid, but less obvious than "Tired of the Wet Backs?" (emphasis mine). In Texas, as you all know full well, there is no other meaning to the term "wetback," and it's disingenuious bull***t to claim otherwise. If you're going to be a xenophobic jackass, at least own up to it.
I read some of the news articles. Some civil rights groups were pretty hacked off...which is a load of crap. People are way to sensitive. It was an obvious innocent mistake. These civil rights groups go a little overboard whenever they get an opportunity to do some grandstanding.
I got called a "cracker" the other day by a black guy....you don't see me whining.

But it was popular with the parents of Chisolm Trail Intermediate School students.
i will buy one
I would hope they'd catch some flack over that. So not funny.
I know I am tired of them. And I don't like my shirt all drenched with sweat either.

Don't be sayin Mexicans sleep with goats either .
I doubt that ad was meant to be racist. People screaming racism about every little thing is getting way out of hand.
Heck...before long, nearly every word in the dictionary will be considered racist by somebody.

That's "disingenuous," sorry. Can't leave my own typo uncorrected -- live by the grammar & spelling sword, die by the grammar & spelling sword.
wetbacks play a very important part in our local economy.
thank you the late

Bravo gleemonex.
Wetbacks would not be an issue if you would just opt for the cloth seats, or mow your own yard!
Wetbacks, liberal weenies. What's the big deal?
Remember the Alamo!
