That is hilarious but, it was not necessary for that punk officer to spray that drunk in the face like that. Obsessive force was not necessary. What a jerk.

Apparently he did not know his rights well enough.....or the Man took the liberty of stepping somewhat harshly all over them.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Happens at our family reunions all the time. Sometimes at funerals.
What does he say at the end: "My wife's gonna kick your ass"? I don't have much use for drunks, but they can be funny (eg. Foster Brooks), but the pepper spray was the right thing to do. The drunk was not taking the situation seriously. When he was yelling about knowing his rights, I wonder what rights he was referring to.
That was funny, what a drunk loser! And I think it's supposed to be "excessive", not "obsessive", 4:28 (which it wasn't--the officer could see he was out-of-his-mind drunk).
"I know my rights!" I'm no lawyer, but do his rights include driving a lawnmower drunk on the interstate, littering his tall boy Bud Light can, and public urination? I always thought of those more as priveleges.

Good Gawd. I don't disagree that the guy was "out of his mind" drunk. I just think a little excessive force was used when the guy was using his...what do you ossifers call it....dangerous weapon...to pee.
What was excessive about that? You are supposed to mind what an officer says, plain and simple. I would say it's against the law to say "hold on a minute" while you take a piss from atop a lawnmower after tossing a beer can to the side of the street. The officer warned him about 3 times....drunk ass got what was coming to him. Nothing excessive about that at all.

Yeah, I could see when the whole pepper spray ordeal started that the drunk was an extremely violent person and frightened the officer to where he needed to use pepper spray to protect himself. I'm surprised the officer didn't pull out his gun and shoot the guy instead of using pepper spray.
Oh, now I get it….officers pull these kinds of stunts so they can get more charges on an individual.

I think the officer made a big mistake... He should have let the guy pee on the grass instead of him having to pee in his cop car...
