The Most Difficult Job In The World

The President's press secretary, Tony Snow, announced he would be resigning in a couple of months. Snow, who has suffered from cancer over the last year, said the reason was "money" - he makes over $160,000 a year. Even though he could have picked a better reason, he was probably being honest - something I appreciate.

And I also think he did a tremendous job. I can't imagine being able to walk out in front of the Washington press corp every day, answer ever question, and never make a mistake. He served his president well.

Having to deal with Helen Thomas everday is not worth it at any price. I truly enjoyed him slapping her down. God bless Tony.

This is a special man. He HAS served his president well. From all I have ever heard, from many sources and sides, this world is a better place for the Tony Snows.

Dissembling. Tony Snow prostituted himself over and over attempting to avoid a straight answer to many questioners - not just to Helen Thomas. Agreed that this is a tough job - too bad he chose to cover up rather than clarify. Hope he deals well with his cancer.

Isn't it funny that the liberal weenies don't have a President. He served OUR President well.

Regardless of what you may think of the man, the President or the way he managed the toughest job, try walking just one day in his shoes and face what he's facing. He may not see his children grow up, graduate high school, college, marry and not see his grandchildren. Perhaps, you should stop and meditate and thank your God for your good health and JUST LEAVE THIS MAN ALONE as he stuggles with this demon as best he can. He needs your prayers and not your sniping.....

He served the president rather than the truth.

I blame the Democrats.

Maybe Elizabitch from The View can take his job? She'd serve the President instead of the truth.

Were drugs or alcohol involved?

If he wanted liberal support, all he had to do is get a blow job in the white house and lie about it... That would make him a hero and a good Democratic hopeful.

I haven't heard Tony much, but sympathize with anybody going through cancer and treatments. These folks are just simply brave.

Ann Coulter should be given the job.

Looking and listening to her would drive everybody into drugs.

I admit it was a tough job. However, it seems like the old "rats jumping from a sinking ship" thing is happening in the Bush Administration. Plus, Snow used to make tons more money when he had his own show and guest hosted Limbaugh.

I agree about Ann Coulter getting the job. She would be highly entertaining, calling members of the White House Press Corps "Liberal Faggots" and berating them. Ratings would go way up.

8:08 and 2:34 I love your compassion for this man. I thought you Democrats were the ones who wanted to love everybody. If Hillary (who won't be our next President by the way)would have taken care of the "Health Care" issue Mr. Snow maybe doing much better today. Oh, thats right, Democrats just talk about getting things done.

8:06 - are you serious? Hillary was in charge of an attempt to revise health care that was defeated in the Congress. Whose fault was that? Since 1994 (until this year) the Republicans have controlled both houses of Congress and have done darn near nothing to improve health care. The national debt has more than doubled under Reagan, Bush I & II. Oh yes, we also have not been invaded by Mars so I guess we have to give them credit for that.

Democrats are all about "embracing" others, and appreciating their differences, unless of course, the "others" are conservative or Republican.

Poor Tony Snow. Bravo to his courage in giving it a go with cancer.
