I wish I had found this for a Father's Day post. We all need a little inspiration every now and then just to finish. Even if we don't win. Just to finish.

9:09, you have to be an athlete, not a couch ornament, to understand how much pain is involved in a pull or cramp like that. I have seen guys, dare I say a touch more manly than I suspect you are, pass out from situations like that. And for many athletes, an Olympic games is the end of their "career", because an Olympic Games was the GOAL of their career. Elite amateur track athletes don't think of the term career like you do.

I remember watching that years ago and being touched. I have told this story at least 100 times and it still makes me cry.
