I get tons of spam, and lately its been in the form of fake e-greeting cards.
But I got this one this morning (click to enlarge). I'm not married to "Pat" so it didn't make any sense, but directing me to a youtube clip with the explanation of "What were you thinking?" kind of got my attention. However, it wasn't a youtube clip at all - it would have directed me to somewhere else.
Edit: I got a couple more today. Here's one of them...

I opened one of these and got a virus. Beware!
AMEN!!! 9:03
F uped my sh*t to bad news
I've been getting these for a couple of months now! I don't have a clue why anyone would get a thrill out of doing this.
Pat, ex wife #4?
My first clue would be that I wouldn't socialize with someone dumb enough to confuse "your" with "you're." I guess that would exclude about 95% of the population.
You can go to Dear Webby and download a program called MailWasher. Takes all of the spam out before you ever see it. Great program to help protect your PC.
You should ALL insist that your ISP have the capabilities to screen your email before it gets to you. My favorite is Postini - it gives me an interface to set the level of filtering, and the capability to white or black list an email address or domain. ISP's that don't provide this are useless, and only contribute to the problem. They shouldn't be allowed to provide internet connectivity or email services - and that includes many of the "Big Boys". It's ridiculous. Wise up, Wise Guys. Start demanding better service.
9:03 is right. Somebody sent me a warning not to open anything like that.
Beware.
once again folks, if you do not know who the sender is then don't open it!! they come in all types, greeting cards, pdf files, uh...does the choice of ENGLISH used not raise a flag???? dah...
I know better than to open them but I'm getting these emails through a web based email account that doesn't accomodate a filtering program.
I'm getting a bunch of e-mails with no text just an Adobe attachment. Don't know what it's all about as I just delete them without opening.
I am confused on how someone can send Spam through a computer....I had a fried Spam sandwich last night and I tried to shove the other half of the sandwich into my CDRom and email it to my Hawaiin friend but all I could get was some sparks and smoke. Now my computer will not turn on! I called my ISP and they said they did not have a filter that would handle canned spam; should I consider switching providers?
Ha ha 2:47 - I've actually had customers who thought they could stick a photograph into the computer CD Rom tray and have it magically scanned into the PC.
