We'll all gather around the TV at 7:00 to watch Tony Romo and company play the first game of the season. And then within 15 minutes we'll be beaten down beyond recognition. Then comes the 4th quarter when time will simply stop. We can at least hope for a career ending injury to Rowdy.
I went to a Houston Oilers / Dallas Cowboys preseason game one year, and I still haven't recovered. But I still remember being able to sneak to a 50 yard line seat late in the 4th. I also recall having a radio with me and hearing play by play man Dale Hansen say, as the clock slowly, slowly moved: "When I am on my death bed and I have just minutes to live, please replay the last 15 minutes of this game because it will seem like I will be living forever."
Stolen phrase: "Games that don't count where the players don't try which we watch for reasons we don't quite understand."

Do you think they intentionally meant for Rowdy to look so much like Jerry?
Was watching some of the game @dinner tonight. Got up to order another beer and the cam's flashed over to a blonde cheerleader swirling her hair around. My first thought? "I hate it when my hair flies into my eyes like that!" Second thought? "Sh*t, I can hear Barry 'hey, now!''ing all the way from here."
Hello Dallas Ft. Worth. Let's talk sports. Max looks good for someone with luekemia and getting chemo.
BG....Baylor Grad. caught the Colts only T.D. in the kill me now fourth quarter...thought you might like to know that...by the way have I told you I have been to the Movie Tavern????
Woooo Hooooo Cowboys!
Anybody catch the weird 4th quarter interview by Pam Oliver with Tony Romo? Tony got punked by a beetle and Pam has lost her bloomin' mind. Oh, Preseason.
Rowdy will be the death of this glorious franchise.
Say what you want but my prediction is the boys make it to atleast the nfc championship this year.
Hello, I'm Dr. B Anjo and music is my deliverance from a whacked out world.
Antonio Ramiro "Tony" Romo .......
that's what I'm sayin' to all you racial bigots.
I simply cannot understand why anyone pays real money to sit in Texas Stadium in 100 degree heat drinking $6 beer and watching primarily scrubs who will be long gone by the regular season. Even spending time in front of a TV is a total waste of electricity.
GOOD STUFF, go Boy's, go.
Preseason games are meaningless. Please note Indianapolis has won 1 preseason game in the past 4 or 5 years BUT they actually get to the playoffs and have won a Super Bowl. What have the Cowboys done recently?
