This isn't the best picture, but the guy on the left was jumping off a bridge near downtown Fort Worth into the Trinity River. That's not his buddy. His buddy is dead. Jumping into the Trinity River is never a good idea.
But the aforementioned "guy on the left" told Fox 4's Lari Barager that he and his buddy were "extremists" as in "sports extremists." The Star Telegram refers to the deceased as "homeless." I'm going with the Star Telegram

The technical term is urban outdoorsmen.
Kinda looks like a scene from "Planet fo the Apes" doesn't it??
really sad, just another day for you and me in paradise...
A fool and ....... everything are soon parted.
His buddy must have been one more idiot who managed to "check himself out of" the gene pool--hopefully before he procreated!
To Us Republicans, Neocons, Hannity-Limbaugh-O'Reilly-DiqueLikkers , another Problem ReSolved. Don't have to worry about this one anymore. How can we get more of our homeless to do the RIGHT thing and just get it over with. This is Compassinate Thinking. We are Thinking of Their Pain. Stop the Pain! Just Do It!
Walker Barager sighting.........Sundance Square and Walker was dressed up!!!!!
Is it just me or did that guy have a tattoo accross his chest reading "TATTOO"? Only the first T and A were colored in but I think that's what it said.
And I thought my tattoo was bad.
Anyone see that?
I thought that was a Hey Now for the girls.
It is a well know fact that a lot of the homeless people in our county are the same people who at one time fought for our freedom. We have no idea the history of this person. Mental illness is not really something we should be laughing at. Come on Barry....just post some more swimsuit pics and leave the homeless alone. sad!
The homeless have to take a bath sometime! Too bad he forgot his rubber ducky to float with.
5:40 Urban Outdoorsman...now that's pretty funny.
10:12, A great many cities in our country have legitimate outdoor activites in their urban areas; as strenuous, "wild" and remote as anything around a person could do around here. Probably more so.
I take offense at the statement "It is a well know fact that a lot of the homeless people in our county are the same people who at one time fought for our freedom." That is not substantiated anywhere. In fact, it is a good thing to put on a sign when you stand on a corner begging to get sympathy but I seriously doubt a majority of the homeless are Veterans. I think (just my opinion but I could say "it is a well known fact" so everyone will believe it but I won't back that up with any data) that most of the homeless have a substance abuse problem or a mental health problem or both.
Let me give you a little insight into these scams artist who work street corners holding signs that say "Need work or will work for food".
Over the years, I've had numerous business friends say they would offer these people work doing all kinds of things and they would turn it down everytime.
I even had one friend say he followed one of these supposed veterans as he walked behind a building and got into a Cadillac!
They are scam artist who typically have good incomes but can and do earn a considerable amount from doing nothing more than sitting on a corner pretending to be indigent preying on simpathy.
So true 11:34. That is exactly why I have not nor will I ever give any homeless person money.
