His attack on appraisal districts is stupid. Appraisal districts don't decide the tax rate or how much you will pay. The City Council, Commissioners Court and School Board determine how much you pay in taxes.
Let me be brief - Parry is not very bright. But he has slithered his way to governor and done about the job you'd expect from one of his limited talents. And due to the split electorate, he'll win another term with some 70% of the voters voting for someone else.
