It is a sad commentary but this is obviously the direction our nation is choosing to take. It is not a problem for President Bush, it is not a problem of politics although politics allows it to survive.
It is a problem of selfishness. It is a problem of greed. It is a problem of "me-me-me-above-everybody-else". We deserve what we get.
This is baloney. Millions of poorly raised kids just THINK they identify with murderers, but they don't. Just like they THINK they might be gay because it's trendy, or THINK they like indy rock because their friends think they think they think they do. We have raised a generation of clueless, skill-forsaken dummies. And it's not their fault. It's all this wonderful freedom to be yourself, don't spank a kid, don't disrespect me, don't violate the rights I think I have....and so we will reap, over the next 20 years, a pretty pathetic generation overall.
