That was the home of the guy who made computers and a lot of other gadgets possible when he worked at TI. He built it from the royalities.
That's obscene. It should be divided up and made into low income housing for illegal aliens.
Mark Cuban and H. Ross both have homes in Dallas that listed for about $25 million each and their taxes both ran about $330K a year so maybe double that night be close.
I figure the school tax should be about $936,000. If the property is in Denton, the city tax would be about $360,000. If the owner is over 65 his taxes will be “frozen” so he won’t have to suffer if his appraisal increases. Don’t forget he may also get a 5% deduction if this is his homestead. Of course the owner could then deduct these amounts from his income taxes so that should make you feel better that you get to subsidize his extravagance by giving him IRS deductions. I could be off a little but you get the idea.
If you do a search on taxnetusa.com on Turbeville Road (the road on which this particular house sits) and you'll see quite a few large houses.
Believe it or not, Troy Aikman purchased this very house 3 years ago for an "undisclosed" amount. Now it is on the market..
The indoor lap pool and closet are AWESOME the rest is a garish waste of space!

You always try to emphasize everything you say in BOLD but no one really cares.
Of course, the old saying applies--"If you have to ask (about how much the property taxes are), you can't afford it".
I wonder if they will take a check??......... If so, I'll buy the place and pay up the taxes in advance for the next 30 yrs.
