Why . . .

. . . on God's green earth are the Rolling Stones playing at halftime of the Super Bowl? I'm ....uh....in my forties and those guys were "before my time". You would think the NFL would want to appeal to the younger generation.

I think the younger generation is more likely to have a "costume malfunction" Better safe than sorry.

Actually, they probably wanted someone who would actually give a good performance--and now that I saw it, that's exactly what they did!!

The Rolling Stones show was fine, but it was cut short because they had to go change their Depends.

The Stones were the only reason I watched the game. What's wrong with appealing to an "older" crowd once in a while? But I must admit that my teenagers weren't impressed!

Its all "Fun & Games" until one of them Slips & Falls and "Breaks" a hip.

I feel bad that our seniors are forced to work well past the retirement age just to "Make Ends Meet".

i thought the halftime show was one of the worst we have seen this decade. sure, no boob was going to fall out in this show, but the music was bad and now what it was 10 years ago

they 15 minutes of fame is over, they are dead and so ws the performance.

It was Super Bowl "40" !!!! Did you miss the part where Mick said we (The Rolling Stones) could have sung this song at Super Bowl I and then he said everything comes to those who wait, right before the band starting playing "Satisfaction". The Super Bowl is still going after 40 years and so are the Rolling Stones!

I thought the Stones were great. Really, would you rather see Jutin Timberlake or Mick Jagger?

If you took the objectionable lyrics out of today's top artist music we would have ten minutes of dead air and "thank you Super Bowl!)

I'm just glad none of them died of a heart attack or stroke on stage.

that was one of the worst performances I have ever seen. About the only thing worse was the dismal singing of out national anthem.

The only reason I watched the game was to see the Stones perform. I'm 43 and my daughter is 15. She was rockin with Sir Mick and company.

They sounded very, very bad. The show was about like the game - sloppy and slow.
