People could chose to die with dignity. Women were gaining equlity in the workplace by preserving a right to privacy. My granchildren won't believe how good it was! It was a good eight years that allowed me to make enough money to last the rest of my life! Thank you Bill!

The guy was a smooth talker, no doubt...but a smooth talker does not a good president make...and just because you are not a good speaker doesn't mean you are not intelligent or warm. It's easy for all of us to say that Bush is to blame for everything that is bad in our country right now...but I've said it before and I'll say it again...how would anybody else, including Bill Clinton, have handled everything after 9/11? Do I agree with everything Bush has done...absolutely not! Do I feel safer? Hell no! But it's because our country was attacked on it's own soil, not because George Bush is president.

The people who think that Bill Clinton was resposible for the rising economy during his term need to read a few more books or go back to school. There are very few short term factors that can influence the economy a majority of them are long term factors that take years to see the results. The short term factors include war and the interest rates which the later is determined by the FED. Bill Clinton is not responsible for any of the economic success the US experienced during his term but could be blamed for some of the economic downturn we have experienced in the last few years.
By the way we have to live in fear b/c Bill Clinton didn't address the attacks that happened while he was in the office. Ships were blown up, Embassy's were blown up and the Chinese(who we should be very afraid of) have nuclear guidance systems and Bill Clinton is to blame!!!!!!!

Clinton is one of the latest reincarnations of the snake-oil salesman. He can tell you what you want to hear in a way you want to hear it. He's a smooth talker - no doubt about it.
The fact is that Reagan's economic policies are what drove the economy up and Clinton's are what is bringing it down. These swings do not happen overnight but through a number of cause-and-effect cycles. Enron and MCI built up on Clinton's watch and exploded when Bush came into the White House. Several attacks against Americans occurred while Clinton was in office and they have only been responded to since Bush took office.
We all miss the voice that put us to sleep when we were babies. Clinton did the same. He put us to sleep with his smooth talking. Now we are paying the price.
Bill Clinton is a normal red-blooded American man who made a mistake. He was/is by far the best President the USA has had in many many years. He has a heart and soul, is smarter than any President in recent history, and America was so so much better off when he was in office. Bill & Hillary are very different though.
People make his mistakes out to be some kind of serial child molester. He was a horny older man in the presence of someone who threw herself on him. He made a bad decision and granted lied about it - more than likely at the request of council, but that one thing doesn't even compare with all of the many many HUGE mistakes that affect us all that Bush makes every day.
I miss Clinton! He made me proud to live in America. I want someone in the Whitehouse with compassion, committment, and 1/2 a brain.
Even if Clinton's affairs in the Oval Office could be washed away, it still doesn't take away the fact he lied. Call Bush what you will but Clinton was no better. Heaven forbid we get a taste of Hillary in office. Any wiretapping issues will be a joke after the socialist queen gets going.

Carter must be a scholar, he was no president. He really did a lot for the poor while he was in office. 22% prime rate, double digit inflation. I bet a lot of folks could get a car loan or a mortgage during his term. 9% unemployment. He should do something for the poor, he created a lot of them.
And is it a former president's duty to supposedly help the poor. Yeah, he shows up in blue jeans for the habitat for humanity photo ops, but what has he done? Write a book? Criticize others?

Clinton made a bunch of mistakes in office. Bush has made a bunch of mistakes in office. So both have made mistakes but one did it while allowing terrorism to bud while the other is having to reap what the previous one sowed.
