"We know now there were no weapons of mass destruction over there [standing ovation]... but Coretta knew and we know that there are weapons of misdirection right down here. Millions without health insurance. Poverty aounds. For war billions more but no more for the poor." -Reverend Dr. Joseph Lowery, at the Coretta Scott King funeral, in front of 4 presidents (including George W. Bush).

take THAT George Bush! he had to just sit there and take the criticism... poor Georgie's not used to that!
What a total crapped out example of exploitation.......damn....
So typical. It's amazing he can lie and say we aren't spending more money on the "disadvantaged".
Leave it to the liberals to take shots at the president during a ceremony for the dead.
Give up and stop whinning!
talk about poor taste, but then what do you expect from liberals
Hey pete liberals suck. SO come after my head lol
...personally, I find it disgusting that any ordained minister would use the pulpit for political purposes.
...especially during a funeral service.
..I guess next we will have folks handing out political cards, yard signs or signing up people to vote.
...sheesh!
You don't find it disgusting that your president is more concerned about IRAQ that what is going on here domestically? I find it odd that he recently stated he wants to reduce American's "addiction to oil". Isn't he an OIL MAN? He's got jokes!
I hope my friends and family discuss my beliefs and values at my funeral.
What I find disgusting is that you're such a nelly twit -- a perfect example of someone who needs to be riding in the front seat of a hummer while on patrol in Baghdad. Maybe then you'd learn to appreciate global oil policies. Idiot.
Like I said I would expect this from liberal's!
What's a 'nelly twit?' Never heard it before, but I like it!
Yeah, and Pete can put me on his head list too....goofball.
I think I know where our next wire tap will be placed ...
opps ....
Thats right ... If you are not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about :)
Yeah, let's use a final farewell to a rare woman and BASH the leader of our country. That will really unite us with the rest of the world. Who would want to come and attack us when we are all so united?
Back off and show some respect for the leader of our country and our country.
We will get a new president come election time. And hey, if we don't like the choice the PEOPLE have made, let's whine and gripe some more so everyone will see what freedom we have here. I'm sure that will unite us with the rest of the world. Get a grip people, the world ain't perfect. Let's see how you would have handled a situation that has never happened before. How would you have handled the US after the murders that took place 9/11? At least he didn't have to pull someone out from under the desk before he addressed the nation.
Anon 7:55, if you were refering to 7:18 I WAS in IRAQ in a hummer, from the beginning to the end of the war Aug90-Mar91. Daddy Bush made sure that I didn't get any extra money then (if you were in the service @ war during that time, you know what I am talking about) and son Bush is making sure we don't get any money now!!
Poor choice of time and place and thank God Clinton had more class than that.
The Bush's body language speaks volumes.
Sure does. It says how long do I have to sit here and listen to these idiots. A six hour funeral with about 5 1/2 hours of liberal nonsense.
Bush had to show up at an audience that he didn't get to hand-pick. Maybe he actually heard some "real" people express themselves without being thrown out by his PC police. Bush is really "bush league." History will further show this administration's inadequacies.
Yep, that guy is not only an idiot, but a poor funeral speaker as well. Every intelligence agency in the world observed the weapons of mass destruction. This fellow had little to do with intelligence.
