Someone needs to give lessons on the art of hanging lights to the Little Town of Newark......Has anyone been by the Newark City Hall to see the display??? As if it's not bad enough having a Newark address~~~
To correct Barry, it is the Wise County Courthouse and everyone in Wise County should be proud of it. Especially since you help pay the maintenance and light bill on it. Decatur is fortunate to be the county seat.
HAHA, i dont think decatur has ever or ever will have to keep up with bridgeport. What is there to keep up with? We all know Bridgeport is jealous because Decatur has everything Bridgeport does not. We are just glad Bridgeport folks kindly bring those tax dollars on our side of the creek.
...i agree with 5:05 - it is the "Wise County Courthouse" - all county citizens can take pride in this stunningly beautiful courthouse...
..Decatur won the right by vote (check out the history) to have the courthouse there - and it should be in that location - it can be seen for miles before coming into the city.

You must not be from Bridgeport, because those are kind words for something that is in Decatur.
I think the photographer needs to get some pictures of the coalmines and rock crushers in Bridgeport.
