Not-A-Good In Aggieland

Last night, Texas Tech routed A&M 56-14 giving the Aggies a 5-4 record for the year. With Texas and Oklahoma still on the schedule, a losing record seems very, very real. During R.C. Slocumb's 14 seasons at A&M, the Aggies never had a losing season. I wonder if Dennis Franchione's days are numbered?

Surely you are going to comment on the game between your Bears and the Horns. That is if you call it a game. Things are working out, way to go Hurricanes!! SC-Denton

Only if there is any justice in the world. Supposae he might jumpship to...say...Texas State University?

Come on, Barry! Its an AGGIE TRADITION--outstanding recruits turning into mediocre players, comprising mediocre teams, then firing the coach. And to wizard, only an idiot or an Aggie wouldn't know that there's no such school as Texas State U. Oh,I guess that's another Aggie tradition.

wizard, I can only assume you are an aggie, because the aggies are the only people in Texas who haven't figured out that their rival school is called the University of Texas, rather than Texas State University. There is not such school as Texas State University. Why fix what isn't broke? We have NO intention of giving up Mack Brown. Francione would never get the U.T. job--that would be trading down, another Aggie Tradition.

Hey 8:22 & 9:40:

1)there IS a Texas State U.(as verified by 10:17

2) YOU TWO are the dumbasses that don't know the difference, as in typical tu people?

3) You don't recognize a tongue in cheek comment when you see it, and

4) I did not grad. from A&M, but from TCU!

Ahhh who cares about all that....I'm dissappointed because Va. Tech lost. I was hoping they would go undefeated and USC would lose to UCLA(who had a mudhole stomped in their behinds), leaving Texas and Va. Tech at numbers 1 and 2. Then I would get to see the Vince Young/Marcus Vick matchup that I think would be sweet to see. Oh well.

Go Frogs!!!!

I think a fun matchup would involve A&M with TCU (or Alabama). Ole Denny might regret leaving them for the big $$$ at Aggie land. Oh well, He'll probabaly get a huge buyout when they fire him and he'll be able to afford coaching at Baylor.

TCU would be the sweeter matchup. I'd love to see TCU kick the crap out of A&M.

Rumors are Franchione will be headed back to his alma-mater Pitt. State in Pittsburg, KS. in 2007 to take over the head coaching job.
