Oh my God, I LOVE UT and that picture is enough of a reason to make me want to date an Aggie Cheerleader, refer to my alma mater as "T.U.", and pick my nose and call it an "Aggie Tradition".

Wait a minute, I thought he was the master of pandering to the religious right, so looks like he would be rooting for Baylor. You know what this sign means in Italy....maybe this gesture is George's payback to the Baptists for Harriet Miers forced resignation. If so, he's smarter than I think he is.

It's actually funny to read BG putting down Texas as evil when it's the bastion of liberalism.

Texas is the bastion of liberalism????

Am I missing something here?

Catch up with us Condoleesa, the jist of this post is about College and the reference to Texas is not the State but rather the University.

As for Liberalism, yes it is true, UT is very liberal. Austin in general. I heard this weekend, that Austin has exceeded San Fran as the cith with the biggest gay/lesbian population. I don't know-it is just what I heard.

HMMMM....If that is true, I wonder how many homophobes that would keep from attending the TU games.

I lived in Austin for over about 2 years. It does have a very large lesbian population. I am not sure about the gay male population there. I have met more here in Dallas than there.

Okay, I am dumb about UT. I admit it. I didn't realize it was that liberal. In general, I don't like Austin as well as Dallas. To may politicans there.

WAIT!

If UT is so liberal then why oh why does BSG hate them so much?

Isn't Baylor a conservative school or am I wrong about that too?

..come on Condi - Baylor is Baptist......ask Barry about his religious upbringing.......(a very good and conservative one, by the way)........

....some parents think if they send their kids to Baylor, they will be protected from the "sinful" crowd. as if Baptist kids will be exempt from such things.......

......which is a crock!

Condoleesa said...

So, is Barry rebelling from his conservative upbringing or he is bluffing about being a liberal? Or he didn't actually get protected from the sinful crowd? Or he WAS part of the sinful crowd?

I AM SO CONFUSED!!

Okay what I really think is that Barry is not nearly as liberal as he would lead us all to believe. My guess is that

He is more an intellectual that tends to have problems with authority because like me, he tends to think those in authority are usually either idiots or power and money hungry enough to step on anyone that gets in their way.

He tends to defend the underdog because he knows he is smarter than most of the rest of the world and feels it is his moral duty to protect those that are not as smart or as rich as he is. (Okay we all have to make a buck and he has to too and that is why he is a lawyer and why he charges people money to help them with their problems. It also happens to be a job he loves and is good at we should all be so lucky.)

Having said that I do tea leaves, palm reading and tarot cards. Just send $25 and a SASE to......
