Couldn't Resist

Did you see this lady on the news last night? She shot an intruder in the leg after she found him in her closet, and the 911 tape recorded a couple of the gunshots. I seriously doubt she will be charged with anything (I wouldn't) but she might was to shut up talking about the incident with so much glee. She enjoyed herself waaaay to much.

The intruder got what he deserved! The Gutzy Grandma could have been killed by him...she did the right thing in self defense.

I agree. I would be glad I got the SOB too. I am guessing the glee is from having not gotten raped or killed and being so glad that she could fight back.

I would be happy..........she was happy to get to see her self on tv.....that doesnt happen everyday with a normal person. Gosh, let her be happy Barry

If you have heard her interviews, she was asked if she felt intimidated by the much larger intruder. She responded, "Not with my .38". I guess the old quote is true--God made some men small and some men large, but this invention by Samuel Colt makes all men equal! Have you ever noticed how Hollwood movies and tv shows almost always potray the presence of a gun as "useless"--the homeowner stupidly continues to be terrorized, anyway. The fact of the matter is this--the presence of a gun in the hands of a competent homeowner creates the absence of a meaningful "plot"!

The fact of the matter is she should have shot a little higher between the legs, then noone else would have to worry about him. At least not sexually.

Problem is, he is still alive to sue her. Hey Barry, new client?

The guy is lucky he wasn't killed. The lock on my door is to tell people that this is my home. If you violate that, I'm going to do everything within my power to protect my family. I would have done the same thing (maybe worse).
Stories like this need more press. More publicity might get the word on the street that (to borrow words from the big screen), "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!" This might help deter a little more crime.
